Health Equity is achieved when every person has the opportunity to "attain his or her full health potential" and no one is "disadvantaged from achieving this potential because of social position or other socially positioned circumstances." Health Inequities are reflected in differences in length of life; rates of disease, disability and death; and access to treatment

Our Health Equity Project strives to make healing spaces and events accessible and affordable to women of color journeying towards healing. Our mission is to provide opportunities to women of color who are in financial need to participate in our healing spaces and events through sponsorships. As we grow, we want to reach as many of our Sisters in Healing through this project while addressing the socioeconomic impact of illness, disease, and disability through empowerment and choice.
